During the 2024 Spectrum Awards competition, the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) honored Adam Neeley, in collaboration with Stephen Avery (cutter), with a three Spectrum Awards; Evening Wear – 2nd Place, Fashion Forward, and Editor’s Choice for his earring design “Cromatica”.

These striking earrings showcase a magnificent matched pair suite of tanzanite totaling 20.66 carats and garnet totaling 23.62 carats, cut by master lapidary Stephen Avery, accented by diamonds totaling 1.26 carats set in colors of anodized titanium and 14kt white gold.

About the Award

The AGTA Spectrum Awards™ are judged on a range of criteria, including overall beauty and wearability, innovative design, effective use of materials, quality of gemstones and workmanship, broad consumer appeal, and potential to generate positive publicity for natural colored gemstones.

We are incredibly honored to receive these prestigious awards and extend our heartfelt thanks to AGTA, as well as to our collectors, for their continued support and shared passion for jewelry as an art form.

Many of the winning pieces will be on display at the 2025 AGTA GemFair Tucson, held from February 3–9. The AGTA Spectrum Gala, the highlight of 2025 Gem Week festivities, will take place on Saturday, February 8, in the new addition to the Tucson Convention Center. This year’s esteemed judges included Jean Francois Bibet, Sherry Bender of The Goldsmith Ltd., Chicago, Susan Jacques of GIA, and Suzy Landa of Suzy Landa Fine Jewelry.
