MJSA Vision Awards 2020
During their 2020 MJSA Vision Awards jewelry competition, the Manufacturers and Jewelry Suppliers of America (MJSA) recognized Adam Neeley with an Honorable Mention for Laser Distinction for his cuff entitled “Moon Glow”.
This extraordinary cuff showcases 29.5 carat total weight cabochon rainbow moonstone cascading over a sophisticated curving form. The “Moon Glow” cuff was inspired by sunset colors during twilight as the moon glow begins to dance upon the waves. With a dramatic width of 2 inches, this bold cuff bracelet features a suite of luminescent rainbow moonstones set in color gradient SpectraGold™. This unique alloy transitions seamlessly from rich yellow gold gradually into cool white gold. A soft satin finish illuminates the ombré effect of the SpectraGold™ and provides contrast to the mystical moonstone’s glow.
We’re honored by the recognition from MJSA during this year’s Vision Awards, especially because of the illustrious panel of judges which selected the winners. These judges included:
-
Nanz Aalund, a designer and author who is now certificate programs coordinator at the Bainbridge Artisan Resource Network (BARN) on Bainbridge Island, Washington.
-
Michael Coan, assistant professor of jewelry design and former department chair at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
-
Susan Crow, principal of East Fourth Street in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a past Vision Award winner who specializes in crafting responsible jewelry (and is licensed by the Alliance for Responsible Mining).
-
Andrea Hill, principal of the Hill Management Group, managing director of the Legor Group, and MJSA’s designer advocate.
-
Michael David Sturlin, a jewelry artist, educator and industry consultant with a studio in Scottsdale, Arizona.
