In February of 2017, the La Quinta Arts Foundation featured Adam Neeley in a blog article entitled “Cutting Edge and Timeless- Adam Neeley.” In this interview, Adam shares insight into his jewelry-making techniques and technologies, and discusses his development as an artist.

“I find inspiration from the angles of a crystal or the shape of a natural shell. I create a modern interpretation of something from nature. I often design the focal point of the gemstone. My goal is to create something unique, visually exciting and with balance. Because it’s jewelry, it must fit nicely.  I also use asymmetry in the composition, and develop works that create movement in the piece.”
